What does our mainstream society discard? What we do forget? What do we identify as trash? How can we celebrate it? How can we reflect on why our society chooses to identify this behavior as trashy? Why do we discard it? How did it get here? How did we get here?

As the saying goes, “one man’s trash is another man’s treasure.” Let’s use art to make trash into treasure, especially in our wasteful society. Is it really waste, or are we just choosing not to do the work?
