When you didn't respond
I kept up hope
that you were speechless,
in awe of my personality
my courage,
and maybe you were just about to call
because my message had meant so much to you.
I denied myself acceptance
You denied me closure
so many loose ends,
i never said so many things
that would have changed everything,
but i thought you already knew.
