i find it endearing
and like to think that i am
a tiny little fairy
that brings only happiness
i call me Sammy
i find it has no meaning
but, i like to think that it has one
a sprightly, exciting being
that brings only happiness.
maybe i am just a little bit
a tiny little fairy
maybe i am just a little bit
thumbelina,
but i am Sammy
and real,
a person
who thinks and brings other things
besides happiness
who cries and yells and
tells people when she is having a bad day.
maybe id rather be thumbelina than Sammy.
