BIO

hi my name’s elise! im a self taught guitarist and piantist and former musical theatre kid. after a brief hiatus from performing, i’m excited to be making a return to the stage in my own local community! i’ll be singing and playing guitar for my set of covers with a few original works mixed in.

LP: How would you describe your art?

folksy, lyrical, singer-songwriter

LP: When did you start performing?

my first memory of performing was in a middle school talent show. i sang skyscraper by demi lovato after my friend ditched me at auditions. after years of performing with in choir and in stage productions, i’ve started to write my own music.

LP: Who are your influences?

amy winehouse, mitski, the cure, yebba, smashing pumpkins, joni mitchell,

LP: If you were given $1,000 dollars for an art project, what would you do?

i would buy new instruments!

LP: What do you think the function of art is in the 21st century?

art is expression, art is resistance, art is communication

LP: Why did you sign up to perform at PorchFest 2025?

to get back on stage after years of not performing!
