BIO

We are a band centered on friendship, unfettered expression, playful creativity and genuine emotion. The band was formed in September of 2023 to perform Jared’s album “Green” and from there became its own collaborative recording and performing outfit.

Q&A

LP: How would you describe your art?

Genuine, emotional, meaning-seeking, community building, cathartic, explorative, playful, unserious, explosive…

LP: When did you start performing?

We started performing together in November of 2023.

LP: Who are your influences?

We’re influenced by a wide range of artists, including Joni Mitchell, Big Thief, Aretha Franklin, Geese, Freddie King, Leonard Cohen and many more…

LP: If you were given $1,000 dollars for an art project, what would you do?

Record an album!

LP: What do you think the function of art is in the 21st century?

I think the function of art in this century is to make people feel less alone, make people feel more human, more connected to each other, and to remind them about the good parts of life: community, nature, laughter, play, living in the moment.

LP: Why did you sign up to perform at PorchFest 2025?

We played last year and truly had the best time so of course we wanted to play again this year! Very special to play unplugged sets for strangers in an event that really feels like it’s bringing LA together.
