Hi Los Feliz Writer,
Crazy that it’s nearly July!
And that there are so many challenges we as part of the Los Angeles community are currently addressing: the fires, air quality, kidnapping, AI impact on jobs, entertainment unemployment, affordable housing, and climate crisi! (like cactus- cacti?).
I believe that through sharing our voices and perspectives through writing and storytelling, we can not only address but take action on the issues listed above in ways that do not perpetuate the cycle of oppression!
Wanted to share about some cool events, opportunities and updates, as usual. If you have any events/resources you want to be included in this newsletter, please email me at seeliterarypixie@gmail.com
The intended purpose of my organizing is to celebrate, empower, and engage writers that live, work, and/or play in Los Feliz! If there is something I could do better or you have something you want to organize and create, please get in touch.
Yours sincerely,
Sammy
